Author Biography: Ow Yeong Wai Kit is an educator, editor of four poetry anthologies, and currently a doctoral candidate at the National Institute of Education. He has taught Literature and English Language for several years at the secondary school level, besides contributing to teachers’ professional development at the Academy of Singapore Teachers. He also holds a master’s degree in English from University College London, where he received the John Oliver Hobbes Memorial Scholarship in Modern English. In 2019, he was awarded the Outstanding Youth in Education Award by the Ministry of Education.
Nah Dominic is currently a doctoral candidate at the National Institute of Education, where he is studying how secondary school students respond in Literature classes that have an ethical orientation. Previously, he worked as a research assistant on a project on cosmopolitan virtues in Literature education, and taught Literature modules at the Singapore University of Social Sciences for two years. He also co-authored the Teachers’ Guide to Sense and Sensitivity and has written lesson plans for Esplanade Offstage’s little red comma.
