Encased in a translucent wrap, this six-volume publication extends ideas explored by the artists featured in the exhibition, SAM Contemporaries: How To Dream Worlds, into print. Developed in tandem with the commissioned artworks, each volume traces one of the six artists’ processes through essays, visual documentation and speculative or diagrammatic propositions.
Like the works in the exhibition, these pages embrace states of becoming, unfolding and reimagining. Readers are invited to journey alongside the artists in dreaming up these worlds.
Artists featured include: Chok Si Xuan, Chu Hao Pei, Lee Pheng Guan, Masuri Mazlan, NEO_ARTEFACTS and Syahrul Anuar.
