Cellular Automata

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Cellular Automata for Research and Industry, ACRI 2014, held in Krakow, Poland, in September 2014. The 67 full papers and 7 short papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 125 submissions. They are organized in topical sections named: theoretical results on cellular automata; cellular automata dynamics and synchronization; modeling and simulation with cellular automata; cellular automata-based hardware and computing; cryptography, networks and pattern recognition with cellular automata.
