The eleventh international conference on The Application of High Magnetic Fields in Semiconductor Physics (SEMIMAG-94) has been organized by the MIT Francis Bitter National Magnet Laboratory as a satellite of the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors. The original conference was established at Wurzburg University in 1972 and this marks the first time it has been sited in the U.S. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together an international group of researchers to discuss new results and current problems in the area of high magnetic field effects in semiconducting materials. In keeping with previous conferences, a large number of tutorial and invited lectures will be scheduled in order to provide the participants with general overviews and up-to-date reviews of current topics.
