At Home Abroad

At Home Abroad brings ‘home’ recent works by Singaporean artists whose art practices are largely or partially based abroad, and who have exhibited frequently on overseas platforms. The 'home-coming' of these artworks adds a different dimension to local art discourse, in particular the migratory nature of contemporary art practice. The exhibition and its dedicated website will serve as a documentation of how these various artworks have been received, both at home and abroad. Showcasing a variety of approaches and new media that interest these contemporary Singaporean artists, At Home Abroad features work by Choy Ka Fai, Jason Lim, Ming Wong, Sookoon Ang, and Zulkifle Mahmod.
