Advances in Conceptual Modeling

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of workshops, held at the 33rd International Conference on Conceptual Modeling, ER 2014, in Atlanta, GA, USA in October 2014. The 24 revised full and 6 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected out of 59 submissions and are presented together with 4 demonstrations. The contributions cover a variety of topics in conceptual modeling, including requirements and enterprise modeling, modeling of big data, spatial conceptual modeling, exploring the quality of models, and issues specific to the design of web information systems.
