China Art Now!

The catalogue was published on occasion of the China Art Now! exhibition. Featuring painting, sculpture, installation and video art from the practices of 14 artists, the exhibition highlights developments in contemporary Chinese art in the 1990s. The exhibition is the Singapore Art Museum's second presentation of contemporary Chinese art, and was conceived as a showcase of recent acquisitions following the Museum's announcement in January 2001 of plans to expand its collection of Asian contemporary art.
