Pick a poem. Now choose a painting. What story can you weave out of these inspirations? This is the ingenious concept behind Only Connect: An Anthology of Poetry, Painting and Comics. Nine artists have taken up the challenge and have created their own narratives, drawing inspiration from the poetry of Felix Cheong, as well as artworks from the collection of National Gallery Singapore. The resulting stories are varied in style and theme, but the common thread that runs through them is that of the human need to remember, to make amends and most of all, to connect. Artists include: Clio Ding, Fang Kai Loo, Don Low, Koh Hong Teng, Cheah Sinann, Danny Jalil, James Tan, Vanessa Leong and Clio Hui
